Since I just spent a half hour writing about my complaint and it got lost in hyberspace, I will be brief this time. Last week I was part of a group of 40 senior citizens who stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites at 115 Traveler's Way in Port Wentworth, GA. The first night a bunch of us went down to the room where breakfast is served and played cards. When we were through, we put the tables back in the best way we could remember. The next morning at breakfast, the general manager, Steve, reprimanded our group leader because ONE table was not put back in the correct place. He even took Joe into a room and showed him the camera video of where we put the misplaced table. Really???? The next night the room was locked so we could not go in to play cards. We told our tour guide from Diamond Tours and she knew exactly who we were talking about and knew his name because they had had other complaints about him in the past. We talked to another couple staying there. The female was in a wheelchair and they said when the husband moved the chair at the table so the female could scoot her wheelchair to the table to eat, Steve came up to them and told them to make sure they put the chair back when they were finished. Really???? Needless to say, next time our group travels, we will not book rooms at a Comfort Suite. A group of senior citizens got reprimanded for not putting ONE table back in the exact place it was to begin with. Steve just kept repeating, "Don't move my tables". When he locked us out of that room, we were also told that we were not allowed to use any other rooms to play cards. He had them all locked.
