Original Comment CARFAX is the biggest fraud in car reports! I had an accident in Towson MD 5 yrs ago and now trading in the car, I found that CARFAX erroneously reported the airbags deployed. Since this was going to cost about $4500.00 in trade, I contacted them (by email of course) with a letter from the OFC involved. He explained in his letter that CARFAX is in the habit of misinterpreting their codes and that the airbags did not deploy. Robin, and her supervisor, obviously can't read very pain English and are refusing to change the report stating that the OFC is wrong! He was on site, they hide behind their computers. I even offered to send them the insurance company's repair list, showing that the airbag was not replaced. They didn't understand that either. CARFAX helps only one entity, the dealers. Shame on you!
