Original Comment I have spoken with at least 7 trained(???) Direct TV in regards to my account amount and expiration of my promotion ending. My lack of knowledge on the reason of why this company does not have FIXED PAYMENTS has caused me extreme and emotional distress. My payment was $123* for nearly a year and my bill in October goes up to $186* and then I'm told more than 7 times &quot;I'm sorry we do not have a promotion for you at this time. I explained I need my payments to remain no greater than the $123+ unless I'm requesting for additional channels or equipment. After being told each time my bill is 186+ because there's NO PROMOTION AVAILABLE. I CAN NOT PAY $186+ so I'm told installments can me made IN ADDITION to my monthly bill. Currently my bill has now increased to $301* due by 12/1/2020. Perhaps this type of inflation on my bill is because???????? I explained there's has been NO INTERNET SERVICE in my home since late July/August 2020 but I'm being charged $85 as if I have it. Due to my medical issues and the irritations of trying to get someone with Direct to explain to me what is going on and why now at $306. I have had to cancel tech support coming out to repair my internet issue countless fear because of my susceptible risk of getting COVID-19. Tech support did inform me this was a Direct technical issue.<br /> After speaking with other Direct TV customers including family members their monthly payments are the same (FIXED) without expiring promotions. I received a $9 credit for not having working internet???????? Your professional assistance and time in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. After a year of being a customer of Direct TV and reading other social media complaints from customers. I hope my opinion changes for the best. These charges ($186 now $301) are amounts I've been PENALIZED because there's NO PROMOTION.?????
