Last Wednesday Feb 10 2021 i went through the drive through at Popeyes in Greenwood SC. My friend had been at doctors appointments all day and was ready for a good meal. I drove from 2 hours away to make sure she got to her appt. She loves Popeyes and asked me to go through the drive through. I ordered 1 2 piece white meal platter which was $11. I started down the road and realized they gave us all dark meat, no biscuit and the cole slaw was discolored. I did a U turn and drove back. The staff were very nice and professional and were appologetic. I said look I work in a restaurant and realize accidents happen so I gave them the opportunity to fix the order. The cook? A young man came to window and asked me for exactly what it was we had. He returned to say he had no mild ready, but had spicey ready and I let him know we would take thus as we needed to get back down the road. He even told us that he had put in an extra piece for the trouble. The problem lies in the fact I got back on the road and my friend opened the box and there were wings. I was to infuriated to turn and go back. My friend ate some if the wings but said they were the worst she had ever had. Things happen I realize but to get tge order wrong twice? This was unacceptable. I felt that someone needed to know. Good people skills but poor order building.
