It has been 3 weeks since I ordered my glasses. I was told 2 -3 weeks before they would be done. I called and asked about them and I was told that coincidentally, they received an email that same morning stating there was some breakage during the production process and they are "monitoring" the situation; I would get a call when my glasses were complete. Now, mind you, I did get a little aggravated while ordering my glasses which took 2 hours, and after that 2 hours of the girl repeating what progressive lenses are and how they work, I asked if we could just order the glasses already. I am not a stupid person, I understand what people say when they talk to me so why she thought I needed to be told 1000 times what progressive lenses are and how they work is beyond me. Then she told me my first frame selection would not work for progressive lenses, I picked another frame, they would not work, I picked another frame, they would not work but my original selection would work so we can use them. After 2 hours, I paid the $600 for my glasses and finally left the store. All that being said, when I called and was told there was "breakage" during production the person that answered the phone was "giggling" while she was telling me my glasses were broken several times while being made. I would like to know what "breakage" means and why the person on the phone thought it was so funny. I paid ALOT for my glasses and paid ALOT with my patience while it took 2 hours to order my glasses. I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years and it has NEVER taken 2 hours to order glasses. So, what does breakage mean and why is that funny? The location is Peachtree City, GA.
