Original Comment I am a member of the Anytime Fitness in Lynchburg Virginia. I like the atmosphere and the equipment. 24 hour access is nice too. However, that's where the positive feedback ends.<br /> <br /> The cleanliness of the gym is terrible. The men's (and women's, according to my wife) locker rooms are just filthy. The urinal and toilets never get cleaned, nor the sinks. The floor is mopped occasionally, but not swept. Just someone swirling debris and paper around with a wet mop. The showers often smell so bad you have to hold your breath. I have honestly seen many more gas station bathrooms much cleaner than this.<br /> <br /> I have complained to the girls who sit behind the front desk to no avail. Recently I was told the manager had left, so there was no direct supervision for the staff. This is no surprise considering the condition of the facility.
