I was in your Avon, CT store today at approximately 4:00 speaking with a salesperson about purchasing lenses for frames I already had. My salesperson reacted immediately to a man coming in the store who she appeared to recognize. He was quite strange acting and carried a large plastic shopping bag. He went from shelf to shelf filling his bag and finally left the store with many frames. The woman I was working with, took pictures of him with her iPad. There was another customer in the store besides me, and there was another gentleman who worked in the store, who was called out to try and handle the situation. I was petrified and asked one of the other girls if I could go out in the back room my question to LensCrafters is isn't there anything that you can do to help keep your employees and customers safe from that sort of situation. Could a lock be put on the door so that people had to be let in? I questioned the situation and was told that the same person had done the same thing two times before. The police were called, but only after this man had left the store. I sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes trying to calm down, and I never saw any police presence at the store or in the parking lot.
