On Saturday, February 16' 2013 my family and I booked an over night stay at the Comfort Inn at 5040 East Street,Indianapolis Indiana and the service was horrible. Check in was around 4pm and we checked in at 345pm. We were assigned to room 103 and when we entered it definitely wasn't ready for occupancy. The linen was stripped off the bed and it was dirty and thrown on the floor. The bathroom was dirty and the smell was unbearable. <br /> I closed the door, went to the front desk, explained my dissatisfaction and turned in my key. The front desk clerk apologized for the inconvenience and told me to have a seat in the lobby and help myself to coffee or water. (Not much of an accommodation.) Within 10 minutes she called me back to the front desk and told me my new room was 128. I walked in the room and once again I wasn't pleased. The lightning was dark and dim, some of the channels on the tv were either to dark or too snowy, and the room was freezing cold. To top it off, I tried to make a phone call and couldn't get a dial tone. I checked the phone and realized there wasn't a cord attached to the phone. Once again I went to the front desk to complain and was told &quot;I can give you a cord&quot;. I wasn't looking for a cord, I was looking for customer satisfaction because I have been inconvenienced enough. The best this hotel could offer me was $10.00 off my total bill. That's not satisfaction/accommodation that's adding insult to injury. When people pay for a service they expect to be satisfied and this experience was truly not the case. I nor my family members will not patronize the Comfort Inn anytime to soon. Please reply to my comment and let me know what you can offer.
