WOW!!! stayed at Comfort Inn Laguna Hills, CA. Checked in Sat @ 3pm> I was a little Leary at that point when (I believe it was Sarah) checked me in less than 30 seconds. She asked my name, had me sign a paper and put my keys on the counter saying have a nice stay. I had my credit card and id ready, she never asked for either. We than left and came back approx 9pm. Booked a room for four adults and no bedding/pillows were provided for the sofa bed. When requested I was provided a couple sheets. the sofa bed was hard as a rock, had to fold it up, take all the bedding off the queen bed and put it on the floor to create cushion so the the other two guests could sleep on the floor. Now no one had blankets, and we were short on pillows. Middle of the night the pregnant guest threw a sheet on the couch and slept on it> she woke covered in insect bites. On top of that the baby was pulling out dirty linens and tissue from behind the couch. We checked out Sun @ 8am and complained on the way out, Edwin who checked us out was very nice and helpful but the computers were down and we could not get a receipt and said he would pass a message of complaint to the manager about our unpleasant stay. Monday I get a call from the hotel (Im thinking its the manager)> I am informed I never checked out and they will be charging more money to my credit card (are you kidding me???) Have been trying to contact the manager for three days, he doesn't call back. We finally got him on the phone and he would refuse to verify his identy. He would just say my name is Kevin A. We are looking for the Manager Kevin Akash> now although he wouldn't admit fully his name, we are quite sure it was him. It is a joke, when you attempt to file a complaint hotels.com and expedia just transfer you back to the hotel you are trying to complain about....what a joke.
