Original Comment I am the only driver of a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. The back seat of the car is barely if ever used. On 7/30/2014 I discovered quite by accident that my drivers side rear door didn't lock. I brought my car into the dealership on 7/31/2014 and was told it was an electrical problem with the latch. The problem was fixed for $487.07. Needless to say I was in shock as I was told the right side rear door showed a weak link if I cared to have it fixed. I declined as it was going to cost me another $487.07. I don't mean to be crying here but I am not in a position to be putting out this kind of money. I would like to add that my family are VW buyers and have never has this problem. I also might add I only have only have 16,000 miles on my VW
