I had a horrible experience flying from Chicago to Las Vegas. Staff at the gate was extremely rude and not helpful.<br /> My flight (flight #357) was scheduled at 8:17am. I got to the airport promptly 2 hours before my departure time. There was no quick bag drop off service(what's the point of checking in early?) Waited in line for 45 minutes and finally when I passed security check point I went straight to the gate. Boarding was announced at 7:55am. Once all zones were called to board at 7:57am I got up and started walking towards the gate. Not sure if due to lack of food that morning once I got up I felt nauseous, since there was about 20 people waiting in line to get on the plane I ran to the restroom few feet away from the gate. I came out 4minutes later and when I got to the gate at 8:06am Crystal(front desk) with no eye contact rudely told me that flight was closed. I tried to explain to Crystal my situation but she kept on rudely responding that &quot;it was not her problem&quot; and kept on typing. Then she proceeded printing out tickets and putting 3 stand by's on the plane. When I asked to speak to supervisor Crystal gave me a steer down as I was wasting her time. She called somebody and when she got off the phone she went back to doing whatever she was doing on computer. I had to ask her if supervisor was on their way.<br /> Supervisor Lori(589943) arrived 5 minutes later. She went on explaining on what the procedures were and that she wasn't able to help me. She also told me that my seat was given away at 8:07<br /> and I came back from the restroom at 8:06am. So front desk lady Crystal instead of helping me simply gave my seat away. What type of customer service is that?? And to make thing even &quot;better&quot; flight was delayed due to a lady not fitting in her seat. So gate was not even closed yet!!! I called call center numerous times and was hung up on by Raim(call center) due to him not being able to hear me.<br /> I've been in customer service over 10years and been flying quite some time. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience especially when I'm giving hundreds to the company.
