I have progressive form of MS and and am not supposed to get stressed out. I assumed that getting AAA Home to go ahead and refer someone to put a roof on my house, instead of me having to go through the stress of getting multiple estimates and all that hassle, but boy was I EXTREMELY WRONG. The adjuster that was handling my claim contacted the roofer, Full Service Restoration in the Charlotte, NC area, and set everything up so all I had to do was write the check to the roofer after AAA paid me. From the beginning the roofer did nothing but lie about everything. Well now, for the 2nd time since the roof was put on I called the Adjuster about my master bathroom sealing leaking again, but she said that I had to deal with the roofer. When he came out, he said that if I would have gotten my master bathroom ceiling painted and primed, it wouldn't be leaking. I'm not a contracter but that didn't seem logical. If there's a leak, it would still leak even if the ceiling had been done. We had a bad rain the other night and I was getting ready for bed when I noticed that the leak was a full blown leak that was getting on my floor. So far over the past few days, I have called Danielle [the adjuster] several times, plus tried to get a manager, which I've been unsuccessful at. I have also called other roofing companies to try and get them to come out and tell me what their oppinion is, as to what the original roofer messed up on, other than using cheap shingles is. One said that one of the pipes is messed up in addition to multiple shingles coming loose. I've got another roofer coming this afernoon and have a 3rd one that just returned my call. All this stess is messing with my health. Since April when all this started, my health has gone downhill and I'm to the point that if this isn't corrected, I'm getting an attorney. I assumed that AAA would dependable enough to help make this easy for me but that is not the case, they are making it more stressful. Instead of them just referring someone, sending me the check so I can pay them, and me writing the check, I now have to contact several other roofers to find out what was done wrong, contact AAA Corp, and if not corrected by Monday morning, get an attorney.
