First of all, I have had to call back 3 times and sit on hold for almost 35 minutes each time before being disconnected or transferred back to reservations with a BILLING QUESTION. Hands down, the WORSTY customer service I have ever experienced. We rented a car through Thrifty along with airfare to go to Texas. The total at time of purchase was $148.61. The rep at the airport in Texas told it was MANDATORY that we take the Loss Damage Waiver protection for $28.49/day. THIS WAS A STRAIGHT OUT LIE. The additional charge was $113.96. Trying to get this removed - to even talk to a person - is proving quite challenging. I've had heavy sighs, been cut off, been disconnected, been transferred to wrong departments...DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY. The hidden fees are a stroke - or if you do plan on paying more than double what you are told your total will be. I guess we'll have to have. I spoke to 5 reps...all INCREDIBLY RUDE. The last one - some total b**** named "angel" refused to give me the confirmation number for the alleged refund and hung up on me when I asked her to repeat it. HORIIBLE EXPERIENCE - will post this review on every travel website available. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!
