Original Comment My only 4 year old Maytag Bravo washing machine has been declared non-repairable. It needs a new transmission and is too costly to repair. VERY disappointed, dismayed, and disgusted that Maytag has nothing to offer us but the discounted purchase of a machine based on their MSRP, making it no less costly to purchase from Maytag than from a retailer. If I am going to purchase another machine without any realistic assistance from Maytag, I will take my business and brand loyalty elsewhere. Shame on you Maytag. As I speak with others on social media, it is apparent that this is the way you do business. No wonder one retail store salesperson told me they only have 2 Maytag washers on the sales floor-nobody wants one!
