Original Comment MAYTAG IS THE BEST!!<br /> I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer in May 1987 from Marty, owner of Homestyle Appliance in Mount Kisco, New York. I had to replace the dryer about 6 years ago, but I STILL have the washer which is and has been used everyday usually 1 to 2 loads a day for the past 34 YEARS! It only needed 1 small repair, a $10.00 part which my husband replaced. I will literally cry when the time comes to replace it. It's a very simple machine, push buttons and dial, not the fancy computer operated machines of today that only last a few years. Thank you for making such a long lasting machine, I could do a commercial for you! I am 66 years old so I remember the commercials with The Maytag Repairman ?
