Original Comment Just wanted to tell someone maybe in tech that the option of shutting off the beater brush needs to stay. When the beater brush stays on it scratches wood floors and gives carpets a burn like patch. And if a toe happens to go under vac while brush is moving, well that hurts. When the handle is up the brush should stop I know this because I have been cleaning houses professionally for 32 years and I have only used hoover vacs buying one new one every year. This year I am returning the vac I just bought because of this change and will be forced to seek another manufacturer
