I'm from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Every time I need an Uber it's always coming up no cars available. This has been going on for about a year
On Thursday, April 7th my husband requested a standard sized vehicle from Uber. An SUV arrived at 1351 NW 12 Street, Miami, FL.33125 and drove him -a total of 16 miles. He asked the driver what the cost was and the driver responded that he did not know, but the amount would appear on his charge account. This came to $118 after a first time user discount of $5 was applied. We have taken a taxi to Miami International Airport-a distance of 13 miles for $40 and a friend took Uber from Davie, FL to Coconut Grove, FL a distance of about 40 miles for $30. We believe this was a totally outrageous charge and expect this to be resolved with a huge credit back to our charge account on file.

Please be advised that I have taken Uber service to and from Fort Lauderdale Airport on the following days 1/22, 1/24, 1/30, and 2/5, for a charge that varied from $27.05 to $34.48. However, today I was charged $179.15, which is almost 5 times the amounts previously charged. I called the driver and he had no explanation, just that he was unable to do anything about the charge, and that I needed to contact Uber. I told the driver that I was contacting my credit card company and putting a stop to the erroneous charge, which I did. I am writing you to let you know of this situation and that I am only willing to pay what I have been charged in the past. Please contact me at your earliest opportunity so that this issue can be resolved amicably.

You have a problem with your site for 1099 forms. Your Las Vegas office keeps sending me emails on how to use the site. Let me give you a hint. I am a retired computer program engineer. They don't need to tell me how to use a site, I will tell them how to build it and the computer its on. The site is not functioning and I need the 1099 and not when they dam well feel like it as they usually do, but now. The gig of not having support via phone is a nice trick but I am not in the mood for tricks. I am in the mood to go down to that office a raise hell you cant even dream about.
I was offered a ride to work by an Uber driver who was avail to take me home after my car broke down. I explained I worked an extrememly early shift and was afraid I would have to miss work on Monday since my car went down late Saturday. He text me from his personal number, secured the ride and even showed me how to ensure he was able to accept my ride once he showed this morning 2/1/16....Upon accepting the ride for me I was not informed that the quoted ride of 28-34 bucks would be 160.09 after he pulled off, no one will answer, no one calls, no one responds (as my first ride was supposed to be free 2 days ago and I was still charged 17.97)... these funds are needed to retrieve my car and WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE ME???? DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOKS.
I have been working for uber for a few days while I work other job right I was thinking that I can make more money if work for uber only and quit the second job after I work a few months my rate is getting lower and lower uber keep sending me warnings to improve my ratings I was working on it still I am doing my best some riders gave me two 4 star out eleven and uber deactivate my account I was keep sending them if there is a way to reactivate my account after taking some courses but in Denver there is no such class them they cant offer me they still deactivating my account is there any one help as Denver Colorado uber driver please help us most driver work for uber as a permanent income thanks for your concern

so that I start my job at Halloween period, its first time shareing and it hard to find my customer in same add,.and most customers 7, or 8 as grop they want take trip together,for that , they rate me lower star as their mood was ,
I have not any background about customers rate, I have been worked with great CO.,without applying system star , because COs.know whats conditions should apllied for customers to be satisfied , and only .driver original behavior, identify successful for any job ,
so please help me and updat my account ,so I need time to appear my experience , it just less than two weeks ,
sir I promise, that I will do the best for my customers and uber to have satisfied, please give me chance to approved that.

I am very upset with Uber. At my recommendation, my stepdaughter, Tiffany Patterson, called Uber to get her home after a night on the town in San Diego. Unfortunately, during the ride she threw up. Granted, this is fairly disgusting and takes some effort to clean up. Cab companies go through this all the time, it is part of doing business. The average cost for puking in a cab is $50 - $75; Uber charged Tiffany $200. This is ridiculous and once the word gets out, good luck finding anyone to use your company if they've been drinking. For a new company vying for a market share, this is a very bad policy. The driver, Abdul Q, sent a picture of the damage and I've got to say, it wasn't very impressive. I would like a response and am hoping that Tiffany will get at least $100 refunded. She is a college student and this was a painful lesson.

My son called and got a price quote from uber of $18 at 2:30 am in dallas. He ordered the drive, took it and after the drive, received an email indicating that due to a glitch, the wrong price was quoted and his fee would be $120 on top of the $18. 20 minute ride. The price for a taxi would have been $25.
The phone number on the website indicates that help is more efficiently achieved through email; there is not email link at the site. To do anything, I have to sign up with an account, which includes providing a credit card number, which I will not do. The corporate phone number does not answer.
Please uber stop the star system for driver and custumers.because people misuse this . Some time drivers are so extra sweet.this is no good. If no star systems then we find origenal behaveir of driver. Every thing naturely good . In uber company half driver in newyork they are so nice .but they do not speak english.they could not talk with custumer because of language problums. But they are very. Very good and hard workers. But some custumer give them very low star because of understanding. Language. With lot of respect i beg you stop this systems. Then see the drivers origenal behaveir.
A very weak support network. Since agents use the same email address, it's more than likely a completely different agent may receive a correspondence meant for your first line of communication. Basically, my response has left me unable to use the services of Uber since when they placed a credit on my account, it's showing as a past due charge with Paypal, so it won't even allow me to pay it to use Uber if I wanted. Poor communication as well. I was charged by a driver $5 for a pickup she alleged, however the time she charged me, she also sent me a text indicating she was lost. I received an apology and 'credit', and then, after indicating the credit issue, was told that I was late and was provided the policy. The customer isn't always right, however, don't accuse us of being liars! Big turn off.
I have been driving for Uber since the beginning of November. I got paid for the first invoice for $7.47 on Nov. 13th 2014 but since then I have not received any deposits (3) into my account for what is now approaching almost $2000. I have repeatedly sent emails to the support team but to no avail. Each time I am assured that Uber takes payments very seriously but now 3 weeks have gone by and the issue is still not resolved. The last 2 days I am not getting any response at all. Can someone at the corporate office please help.
DAVID: You will find that speaking to a live person is next to impossible. Having said that they are very responsive using email and the 2 best ones are:

I know it sounds shady but I am enjoying working for them and most of my riders rave about the Uber system. I have always been paid on time and within a couple of cents of the calculations I make! You have to remember they are a technology company (Rasier Corp.)and you work for them as an independent contractor.
