Original Comment I Seriously Encourage Everyone That Reads This To Never Consider Using This Prepaid Debit Card (netspend) It Is A Complete Scam! They Wait Approve You To Recieve Their Card And To Have Your Income Tax Return Deposited Onto Your Card, They Wait Until It Is Posted By The I.r.s. And Let You Spend A Little Of It Then Place A Block On The Card So You Cant Access Your Money And They Claim It Was Blocked Due To Suspicious Activity, They Then Request You Send Them All Of Your Personal Information Such As Copies Of Your Id,ss Card And Other Documents And Then They Will Lift The Hold On The Card. Funny You Can Apply For The Card And They Never Ask For Any Of This Before Sending It. So Anyways After Sending Everything They Requested Not Once But Twice Because Supposidly They Didnt Recieve It The First Time.i Called To Find Out When The Block Was Going To Be Lifted And Was Told For Almost Two Weeks Evryday That It Would Be Tomarrow, Tomarrow Thats All I Was Ever Told For Two Weeks And Then Was Told That My Account Was Closed Out And The Remaining Balance Of $987.00 Was Sent Back To The I.r.s. Mind You I Had Already Spent $800.00 Of It Before They Decided To Do This. And If I Remember Correctly This Is A Prepaid Card Which Means Its Your Money Thats On The Card, Not Theirs Nor Is It A Credit Card, So They Have Nothing At Risk Here What Gives Them The Right To Do Anything With My Money. And To Make A Long Story Short Never Recieved My Money Nor Did The I.r.s.!! This Company Is Nothing But A Scam!!! The Real Topper Is They Dont Even Have Any Info Such As A Corperate Phone # Or Address Where You Can Contact Someone Other Than The Cust Service Reps That Never Seem To No How To Say Anything Except "tomarrow"! I Can Guarantee You, I Am Filing A Class Action Lawsuit And Im Sure There Is Alot Of Others That Are Already Pending. This Company And Everyone That Works For This Company They Are All Thiefs!!!!!
