I recommend that you do not by anything made by Sony being that you can not get anyone that knows anything unless you have PREMIUM SUPPORT.

When I go on they're website and try to bring up my Sony Vaio it does not even show the model I have which is SVF152C29L. Try calling support with no luck, all the guy would say is I can't help you your not PREMIUM CUSTOMER. Well guess what I won't be any kind of customer from now on because this is the last product I will ever buy with the Sony name on it.

And trust me I will make sure I let everyone I know not to buy Sony.

Thanks for nothing Sony

Dear Sony
I have always bought Sony TV the last 40 yrs,
Last sony i bought SXRD KDS-R60XBR1 it was a great tv even when the bulbs needed replacement.
Had the light engine replaced 3 times under warranty. Now the light engine went out again.I did see there was a law suit on this model but i t was over by the time i discovered this.
I paid 3500 plus 400 warranty for this set.
Im now in the market for a 4K tv and sorry to say I'll be taking my business else where.

Dear Sony,
I am writing trough all possible channels until somebody contact me to attend and sort my issue.
My Xperia Z1 was sent to repair because it turned on overheating control and since then camera is not working and it does not charge anymore. Overheating control has turned on by itself not by my mistake. So I got reply that I must pay for repair. This is out of any question as my phone is under warranty that covers errors like this. I contacted customer service here in Spain to find out where my phone is (tracking is switched off, not by me, and I can not locate it) and with whom I could speak to discuss this issue. First they do not want to tell me where is my phone, second they did not provide me contact of person in charge for repairs. I asked for contact of legal representative but I got no answer. I have written emails to every accessible address connected to Sony. It is amazing that worldwide there is no one person employed in Sony who cares about this issue.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes,
Danijela

Wasted my money on Sony laptop computer; which is about three month old Problems are
Turn off itself without any warning even if it is connected to power line. Numerous call and driver update. Send twice for the repair. Last one week it did not turn off so far however wi- fi has problem staying connected. Problems started as soon as we receive after second repair.
This lemon piece either should be replace or offer a full credit. Check my history how many time we called for help and time we spent having problematic product. Once having wi fi issue, I am very dissatisfy with unreliable Sony computer and afraid of using it during my travel.

Dear Sir / Madam
Bought the latest sony xperia z1 phone a month ago. Unfortunately a coin dropped on the screen a few days later. The screen cracked and not a single thing works on the phone. The real trouble is that there is just one place in the whole of the czech republic where the phone could be serviced. I see the lack of repair points as a serious drawback in addition to the suggested cost of the repair which is nothing less but 80% of the phones total cost. Could you please suggest any possible solutions ? This way of troubleshooting seems really unfair to me. There are no spare parts available on the market. How could this be ? We all know accidents happen so you shouldnt release a new model before you make sure it can be repaired under reasonable conditions.

Wasted my money on Sony laptop computer; problems with wi- fi staying connected. Problems started within two weeks of using; it has been six months now; on third motherboard, third net work adapter, and second hard drive. Numerous calls to tech support, being shipped for repairs and many long calls to customer service with still same problem and Sony doesn't care as they have their money...never again Sony!!!

HORRIBLE customer service...I began having huge problems with my large 60 inch Sony tv...contacted customer support 3 times, first by email, then by live chat, and finally by phone...discovered through research that my problems were very known issues, to the point that a law suit had even been opened against Sony for the flaw in the years prior...Customer service tells me I qualify for their exchange program and instructs me to call for all details...When I end up calling they go completely back on their word, tell me I actually dont qualify, I can repair tv out of my own pocket or take a 15% off coupon to buy a new Sony tv...even claimed there was conveiniently no record of my previous contact...Good customer service should not quote customers information just to turn around and go back on it is the huge point here...For that reason I will NEVER waste my money on another Sony tv...very disappointed and angry

Am really disappointed in Sony. Went online to chat and solve problem with product. Did not get it done. They ran me around the block and still didn't get anything accomplished. Cant buy a product and not hope to get some help. Your manuals for your product, I have, Surround Sound, is the worst for being helpful to consumer. It was written for those who have extensive electronics knowledge.
Not a plus for buying another Sony product.

I purchased a Sony Bravia flat screen television (model kdl40nx700)in Feburary 2011. last week the TV stopped powering up .Contacted Sony support, Jessie p77m advised me the set had only a one warranty and that I was Responsible for the repairs. He told me to call Sony national customer relations if i still had a problem.
Almost every Electronic device in my home is Sony , I bought because I assumed Sony made quality products. I WAS WRONY ! I will never buy another Sony product.
Got tv repaired for $320 , main panel was out , shop stated Sony has a problem with main boards failing. Fyi : The same thing happend to my friends Viszo set (4 yrs. old) they fixed for free. WHY PAY DOUBLE PRICE FOR SONY EQUIPMENT & RECEIVE NO CUSTOMER SATIFACTION . GOODBY SONY _WON"T BUY AGAIN !

I am in agreement. I have all Sony products, but the newest is the 46" LCD TV,purchased in July of 2010. It is beautiful, but the motion flow (for which we paid extra) stopped working. I got the extended wrranty, but was told if the TV is working as it should and it's a manufacturer's problem, I would have to pay a service call charge (even with insurance???). Sony said that the back should be taken off the TV and inspected. Good luck with trying to get a tech to do that! The other problem is that in order to hear the TV, the volume has to be above 40!! on the vloume scale. Anyway, I think my next TV (really soon) will be a Samsung. My kids each have one and the pciture is ubelievable, sound is at 14 or 15 and it even swivels! Sorry I didn't go that way first, but as I said, Sony has been in my home for years. Unfortunately, the new products don't match up to the quality of the old ones.

I am so nary and agitated with Sony right now. I have spent a total of two and a half hours on hold today, and hung up on by every customer service agent that tried to transfer me!! For a total of five people. I will also say everyone one of those people could not tell me the benefits and differences of your new ereader versus your ereader of two years ago. That is incredible to me. I tried to talk to a supervisor and waited on hold for 36 minutes before the idiot came back on the phone told me the supervisor wasn't coming to the phone! I asked for the corporate office phone number and he gave me your recycling division! Are you kidding me and all of this time all I am trying to do is make a purchase using my Sony credit card. I will go to the competition. It's not what I wanted but I will not deal with this company. You aren't the only company with readers. Possibly you should educate your staff.

Sony has lost its way. Customer service is simply beyond their understanding.

I had a KDL55XBR8 for less then three years when in August I started getting visible LED stripping behind the picture. I called Sony they referred me to an authorized repair service. The man came and said the panel had failed and it would cost over $4000 to repair.

I called Sony and they said they had an exchange program which would provide an equivalent replacement set for $679.00 plus tax. (Incident number E55342189) I accepted the offer and waited ten days before I started calling. They had no information. Then a few days later when I called they gave me a tracking number. When I looked up the tracking number to my horror I found they were sending an old KDL60EX500 a CFL tube screen machine.

I immediately called and cancelled the order. I could buy a better screen new of that quality for the same money. The XBR is the top of the line so offering a Yugo to replace a Cadillac is simply insulting.

I cannot tell you how much time I've spent on the phone with Sony and how bad a taste it has left for this company.

I understand. I also have had the same identical problem. Thought Sony was the best product on the market. Bought tv in Nov 2011. Picture started having green lines. After two weeks of waiting they sent me a refurbished tv for my NEW tv. Now it is Sept. and the tv they sent me will not turn on. Called for service on 9/10/12. Someone was going to call me within 5 days. No Call!!!!!Called back today and they hadn't even put the service call in. So now it is going to be another 5 days. How can a company as big as SONY treat customers this way. Beyond me!!!! Lee Mize 9/14/2012

I purchased a 55' Sony TV in June 2012. Sat. 9/8/ll the sound went out. Called Sony Cust. Svc. Reported the problem....E55421329...and was told that the part would be here in Sacramento, California in 5 days. My husband has cancer and we are both in our 70's and our TV is our lifeline to the world. On Tue 9/ll I called Sony again to check on the progress of getting our part. I spoke with Ken Badge# CJD3 and he said we would definitely get a call from WorldWide on Thur 9/13 and our part would be here in Sacramento. Today I called WorldWide and they informed me that the part had just been shipped today and would not arrive in Sac. until Monday 9/17 and then it would probably be Wed. 9/19 before we got service. I was devistated. We're sitting here with our new TV with nosound and it would at least another week before this problem was taken care of. I bought a Sony brand TV because I thought it was a big reputable company but instead I have been lied to by their own techs. How can this big company care so little about their senior citizens or maybe because we are seniors we are not considered future customers. Please respond. Thank you
